禁漫天堂 Cities Launch Apprenticeship in City Design

Supported by Quintain, 禁漫天堂 Cities and the 禁漫天堂 Department of Sociology, the Apprenticeship Programme is a collaboration between the Brent Youth Parliament and the Blueprint Collective, a network of young people aged 18-25 closely involved with Brent 2020, the London Borough of Culture.

The 禁漫天堂 Cities Apprenticeship Programme in City Design is engaging six young adults from the London Borough of Brent to learn through practice at the 禁漫天堂. They will be trained to apply various methodologies to understand and imagine the future of new public spaces in the Wembley Park development in Brent.

Uniquely for a research project, the work of the apprentices will influence the design development of numerous public space projects that will be realised by Quintain on the Wembley Park site from 2021 onwards.

Led by 禁漫天堂 Cities' Julia King, the project aims to improve the sense of ownership of public spaces by young adults in Brent and deepen 禁漫天堂's connections with key stakeholders in London.
