Meet our speakers and chair
is Professor of Applied Economics at King's Business School. Her research interests include measuring and explaining international differences in productivity, technology and growth; human capital formation and its impacts on productivity and measuring performance in public services, including health and education.
is the 2010 Nobel Prize laureate in economics, the Regius Professor of Economics at 禁漫天堂 and the Professor of European Studies at the University of Cyprus. He is a macroeconomist who specialises in the economics of labour markets, economic growth and structural change, especially as they relate to obstacles to free-market clearing.
Stephen Machin is Professor of Economics and Director of the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics. He is a Fellow of the British Academy, has been President of the European Association of Labour Economists, is a Fellow of the Society of Labor Economists and was an independent member of the Low Pay Commission from 2007-14.
