Summer 2019 witnessed a momentous election in Greece, with the fall of the SYRIZA-led government. Was it a rejection of the recent past or an endorsement of a new policy direction? What does it signify for Greece’s future?

Dionyssis Dimitrakopoulos is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Politics, Birkbeck College, University of London. 

Maria Karaklioumi is a political analyst for the Greek polling company RASS SA. She holds a B.Sc. in Statistics (Athens University of Economic and Business, Greece), and three Master degrees one in Political Science (University of Essex, UK). Prior to and after joining politics for six years, she worked for private polling companies in Greece. While in politics she was the Deputy Spokesperson of the Greek Socialist Party and elected Vice-Governor of Attica Region.

Spyros Kosmidis is a Lecturer in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford.  He conducts research on political attitudes, public opinion and elections with a particular interest in campaigns, political representation and electoral accountability.

Dr Spyros Economides is Associate Professor in International Relations and European Politics, 禁漫天堂 and  Deputy Director of the Hellenic Observatory, 禁漫天堂.
