About me

Martina is a Research Officer at the International Inequalities Institute, focusing on regional inequalities, technological change, firm dynamics, and institutions within the research theme . She is also interested in regional development, climate change, globalisation and local labour markets.

Before joining the III, Martina worked as an Early Stage Researcher on the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network on . She also served as a teaching and research associate at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where she conducted research on regional inequality, migration, and environmental hazards. Beyond academia, she has experience as a consultant in sustainable development at the Asian Development Bank and completed a research project on gender inequality for the United Nations Development Programme.
