About me

Rafael is Postdoctoral Research Officer at the Institute for New Economic Thinking at the Oxford Martin School (INET Oxford) and the Department of Social Policy and Intervention (DSPI) at the University of Oxford. He is also an associate member of Nuffield College at Oxford. His work looks at the dynamic drivers and consequences of rising economic inequality and policy responses.

Rafael holds a PhD in Social Policy from the ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ, where he studied the measurement of inequality of opportunity, its impact on economic growth and its relationship with intergenerational mobility.
