Join us for the annual Robert H Smith Family Foundation Lecture in Democracy which aims to promote the importance of international diplomacy and democracy in the spirit of Benjamin Franklin as a diplomat and politician.
The scenes at the US Capitol on 6 January 2021 shocked onlookers around the world and led many to reconsider their thoughts on American democracy. In this event, Benjamin Franklin House's Director Márcia Balisciano is joined by journalist and broadcaster Justin Webb to ask if American democracy is under threat.
