Professor Gerry Simpson made Fellow of the British Academy

Many congratulations to Professor Gerry Simpson who has been made a Fellow of the British Academy (FBA) in recognition of his outstanding research in Public International Law. 

Professor Simpson was among 76 distinguished scholars, including two other professors from ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ, to be elected to the prestigious fellowship this year, in recognition of their research.

Gerry’s current research projects include an ARC-funded project on Cold War International Law (with Matt Craven, SOAS) and Sundhya Pahuja, (Melbourne) and a counter-history of International Criminal Justice.

He joins a community of over 1400 of the leading minds that help make up the UK's national academy for the humanities and social sciences.
