Jonathan White is Professor in Politics and Deputy Head of the European Institute at ½ûÂþÌìÌà and author of , , (with Professor Lea Ypi) and . His research interests lie in the fields of political sociology and political theory with a focus on European democracy, with focus on political engagement, partisanship, ideology, ideas of the future, the politics of emergency and the relation between social and political ties.
